I moved to Atlanta in the early 90’s to go to school. That didn’t work. It was my third try. I’ve always loved music and by total accident and chance I ended up making rock n’ roll music for a decade as a singer and songwriter. (I never would have thought that would happen to me.) Anyway, after years of touring, recording, and trying to “make it”, i hung up my skates and gravitated to art. I always supported my friends who were painters and photographers. They really encouraged me so a few years ago i gave it a go for fun and then it just sort of kept growing into what it is that i do today.

I’m self taught and learning a little more every day. I’m inspired mostly by color and words. A lot of my work has bits of songs, poems, and scrawl embedded somewhere within. Even though we live in a digital world, words are at the forefront of every thought, spark, emotion, and intention. My works are often emotionally and spiritually inspired as well. People ask me a lot of the time, “what’s with the birds?”. You’ll have to ask me when you see me next time....
